The Immovable Property Commission (IPC) provides a final compensation offer based on the established valuation.
At this stage, you have the right to:
Accept the offer
Enter into further negotiations
Reject the offer and potentially appeal to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), although the ECHR currently recognizes the IPC as an effective domestic remedy.
Important Notes:
Compensation may be disbursed either in full or through instalments, subject to the total amount and the Immovable Property Commission (IPC) budgetary constraints.
The assessed value pertains solely to economic losses and does not include compensation for emotional or non-material damages.
In certain cases, the IPC may propose restitution or property exchange in lieu of monetary compensation.
